Intel has unveiled its next-generation Panther Lake processors at CES 2026, marking a significant step forward in its Core Ultra CPU line-up. Built using Intel’s advanced 18A manufacturing process, the new chips are designed to deliver improved performance, greater efficiency and enhanced on-device AI capabilities.
Panther Lake combines high-performance and efficiency-focused CPU cores with Intel’s new Xe3 integrated graphics, aiming to boost everyday computing, content creation and light gaming without the need for a dedicated graphics card. Intel says the processors will also deliver notable gains in AI performance, supporting the growing demand for AI-powered features in modern PCs.
The launch represents an important moment for Intel as it looks to strengthen its position against competitors such as AMD and Qualcomm. With the first Panther Lake-powered devices expected to arrive in early 2026, the new CPUs offer a clear glimpse into Intel’s vision for the future of AI-ready personal computing.
